Accounting Manager

We are searching for an experienced individual who will be responsible for executing monthly accounting activities.

The Accounting Manager will carry out general ledger account reconciliations, monthly close tasks, and provide accounting support to field operations as necessary.

Responsibilities will include:
• Bank equipment loan management and reporting, curtailment projects and covenant reporting
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• CNH Capital weekly and monthly borrowing base reports, record CNH volume bonuses, review CNH monthly reconciliation
• Monthly BMS financial information transmission and review
• Make weekly AP selections for management review
• Perform monthly close processes and accounting reconciliations in support of the monthly close process.
• Carry out balance sheet account reconciliations
• Maintain company fixed assets in AssetKeeper and record monthly depreciation and amortization
• Enter general ledger journal entries as necessary in support of account reconciliations and accuracy of financial statements
• Mentoring junior accounting staff
• Present ideas to resolve accounting related issues
• Provide financial reporting support to all branches
• Perform retail settlements for Wholegoods (Case Portal)
• Apply warranty credits and report on variances
• Assist in preparation of year-end audit schedules

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required and a CPA is preferred. All candidates must have 3-5 years of public and/or private accounting experience and strong computer skills particularly with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other accounting software. We also look for strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and project management capability, a valid drives license and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Description:

Pat Kelly Equipment is currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to work alongside our current A/R Manger prior to retirement to learn and phase into the position. The position-will work with the current A/R Manager and Office Manager/Controller to learn how to manage the daily operations and strategic objectives of the company's accounts receivable cycle through design, implementation, maintenance and management of all accounts receivable business functions and procedures for the Accounts Receivable collection process. The AR Manager will assist with the proper invoicing within standard polices reflective of the customer's requirements. He or she shall work with any and all personnel to help assure timely and accurate invoicing and rating occurs. This position is tailored to advance to the role of accounts receivable manager.

Learned Duties and Responsibilities:

Overseeing customer billing and cash receipts processing
Proper recording and application of cash, management of outstanding invoices and direct interfacing with customers on collection matters.
Support Management by providing timely and accurate payment and account standing information
Assure timely collection of monies due to Pat Kelly Equipment
Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards
Assure timely and accurate invoicing
Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly
Assure that the company's standard template regarding invoice sample is in place for every customer
Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits
Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures
Weekly reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments

Experience Required:

Minimum 3- 5 years work experience in credit/collections with responsibility for direct customer contact
In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting in accordance with government laws and procedures
Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Managerial skills and experience are a must
Well-developed analytic and problem solving skills
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities at a time
Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
Successful in dealing with customer and company personnel at all levels
High degree of integrity including ability to successfully deal with sensitive or confidential information
Ability to exhibit poise, composure and confidence when confronting stressful or high-pressure situations
