Responsibilities:
⢠Performing optimum customer service to problem solve for each and every customer.
⢠Identifying what parts a customer requests or asks you to find on the computer system.
⢠Create a positive experience for all customers through attitude, helpfulness, clarity, and innovation.
⢠Assists with marketing parts on showroom merchandise displays.
⢠Loading and unloading of trucks with forklift. Forklift certification can be provided by employer.
⢠Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.
⢠Greeting customer immediately when they enter the store and direct them to appropriate person or department.
⢠Cold calling on customers to generate more business either by phone or in person.
⢠Inventory of parts bins during off-peak busy time.
Skills & Requirements:
⢠Have a mechanical aptitude; familiarity with agriculture and lawn & garden equipment is helpful but not required.
⢠Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers-good listening and verbal skills. This also includes good phone etiquette.
⢠Utilizing the computer for basic day to day operations.
⢠Self-motivated within the parts department, along with prioritizing your day.
⢠Multi-Tasking with multiple orders and customers as appropriate.
⢠Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
⢠Ability to stand for long periods of time.
⢠Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
