Job Summary
Greenway Equipment Sales is a trusted John Deere dealership known for quality equipment, expert service, and strong community values. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and play a key role in managing our financial operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Coordinate external audits and support tax preparation.
Work with and help guide accounting staff.
Work with department managers to ensure accurate reporting across locations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a dealership or similar industry.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
Experience with accounting software (CDK or John Deere systems is a plus).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
