Overview:

Equipment Sales Consultants are responsible for retaining and enhancing business relationships with existing customers and developing business relationships with new customers within their area to drive sales, profitably achieve Minnesota Ag Group market share goals, and promote all aspects of Minnesota Ag Group in a professional manner.


Responsibilities:
* Market and sell new and used whole-goods as customer solutions and build and maintain long term relationships to maximize customer satisfaction and company profitability
* Manage current accounts to achieve maximum revenue and aggressively pursue conquest accounts for growth
* Present a positive and professional image of Minnesota Ag Group in the presence of customers and community
* Effectively utilize resources and processes that will directly contribute to customer awareness, the proposal and negotiation process, closing sales, profitably increasing volume, revenue, and customer satisfaction
* Complete thorough documentation on all reports and forms required with work assignments
* Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations, clinics, seminars and participate in trade shows
* Seek and participate in appropriate training opportunities to enhance equipment expertise and sales performance
* Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work duties
* Maintain technical and product knowledge and complete competency assessments as required
* Schedule pickup and delivery of equipment as needed and follow-up after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction
* Identify customer service opportunities and implement solutions
* Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor in a professional and efficient manner

Qualifications:

Required:
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a high level of computer literacy
*Ability to effectively and efficiently resolve employee and customer conflicts
* Demonstrated sales skills including: the ability to sell opportunities, ideas, and concepts; strong negotiation and closing skills
* Keen attention to detail and a high level of initiative and ability to work independently
* Demonstrated strong organization, prioritization, decision making, and problem solving skills
* Demonstrated strong decision making and problem solving skills, and understanding of local market conditions
* Ability to work flexible hours
* Safety-minded work habits
* Clean driving record/ability to travel up to 90% of the time and to customer locations, trade shows, and based upon business needs
* Ability to perform in a fast paced, stressful work environment
* Ability to handle and resolve frequent interpersonal conflict
* Ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees

Desired:
* 2 or more years of related work experience
* Previous sales experience and/or training

Reports To: Sales Manager

Scope: Responsible for successfully installing and maintaining precision farming
products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Install new precision farming products.
* Calibrate new and existing precision farming systems.
* Preform firmware and software upgrades on existing systems.
* Work in the field with customers on start up and running AFS systems.
* Support sales staff with selling new precision farming equipment
* Work in the field on demonstrating AFS systems.
* Support new CaseIH Sprayer sales to growers.
* Support growers mowing data between seasons and equipment.
* Work with sales staff demonstrating new and used equipment.
* Comply with all Minnesota Ag Group, Inc. policies and procedures.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
* Must be willing to travel as needed. Clean Driving Record Required.
* Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Requires good organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and complete assignments within expected time frames.
* Possesses a working knowledge of current automated business systems preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook or similar programs and other applications as needed.
