Receive parts requests from technicians and pull the parts from the Parts Department inventory to deliver to technician work station. This position is required to post needed parts to specific Repair Order utilizing computer programs and designated printer(s). Essentially the main purpose of the position is to stream line the parts to technician process. Other secondary responsibilities will be assigned to keep position productive throughout the day, these tasks will be assigned by the Branch Service Manager.
â€¢ Pull available parts from the Parts Department inventory and deliver parts to the technicianâ€™s work station requesting needed parts.
â€¢ Orders needed parts for technician and communicates with technician/ service admin on how part should be ordered.
â€¢ Performs routine maintenance tasks. (sweep floors, dump trash, organize equipment, etc.)
â€¢ Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
â€¢ Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
â€¢ This part-time position starts at 9am and work until 3pm with a half hour lunch.
â€¢ March 15th through June 15th with the possibility of full-time availability depending on candidates work ethic.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
â€¢ Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
â€¢ High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
â€¢ Valid driverâ€™s license required
â€¢ Fork lift license preferred
