Verify month end vendor statements
Input vendor invoices in to a/p vouchering system
Work with vendors for variances and missing invoices
Take vendor calls
Work with store managers and other internal personnel
Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
4-6 years hands-on Accounting experience.
Basic computer skills and word processing.
General math skills
Some experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems
Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), proper grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers
Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic

A/R Collections Clerk
Accounts Receivable Clerk Job Responsibilities:
Secures revenue by verifying and posting receipts; resolving discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable Clerk Job Duties:
Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from local deposits.
Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments, and from customers;
Work with Store Managers and Sales Personnel to collect payments.
Follow up with customer regarding past due accounts.
Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections agency.
New customer acceptance, including credit history research and establishing credit limits to mitigate risk to company.

Service Technician:
Position may be available at any central Ohio location including Groveport, Dublin or Westerville.
Career Objective:

Career to increase the levels of customer service by performing preventive maintenance, customer repairs, and all other repairs on equipment within the area of responsibility as required in the most effective and economical way to eliminate equipment failure at the customer location. The individual will maintain and repair equipment offered by Franklin Equipment to include Construction and Agricultural (small equipment, aerial, dirt, farm, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment), Customer Repairs, Dealer Pre-Delivery, including the diagnosing of complex equipment issues and troubleshooting within the compliance of all Safety/Company Policy and Procedures.

Career Responsibilities:
Service equipment correctly on the first attempt as required avoiding unnecessary down-time.
Service equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop.
Repair/Maintenance of customer equipment.
Annual inspections.
Preparing all Rental Equipment for Customer Availability.
Dealer pre-delivery.
New equipment preparation.
Preventative maintenance.
Dismantles and reassembles/ rebuilds equipment.
Diagnoses standard mechanical equipment problems.
Fabricate parts as needed to meet needs.
Perform safety inspections on equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment (service truck or shop work station).
Meet all company, government, and equipment-specific safety requirements.
Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
Education and Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training a plus.
Experience with construction and/or agriculture equipment preferred.

Additional Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving history.
Must own personal mechanic’s tools.
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignments
Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness

Truck Driver Class A:

Career Objective:
The primary career function of the Class A Truck Driver is to deliver and unload Construction/Agricultural equipment and supplies to and from the customer jobsite, store locations, dealer transfers, and other as applicable.

Career Responsibilities:
Deliver and recover equipment at the customer site, which may include; but is not limited to:
Loading, unloading, and securing the equipment.
Local or long-distance hauling of equipment and supplies.
Perform basic troubleshooting involving malfunctioning equipment at jobsite and make minor repairs.
Perform daily commercial vehicle inspection with completion of necessary repairs to vehicle to ensure operational safety.
Learn and demonstrate Customer Service Standards for delivery service.
Accurately obtain require signatures on rental contracts, pick up and exchange forms.
Demonstration of proper and safe equipment usage to customer at point of delivery.
Perform other duties assigned by the manager or authorized personnel.
Complete inspection reports for out-going and returned equipment; completing log book and trip sheets meeting all D.O.T. and company record keeping requirements with all Company Policy and Procedures.

Definition of Class A Vehicle
Any combination of vehicles with a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 11,794 kilograms or more (26,001 pounds or more) provided the GVWR of the vehicle(s) being towed is in excel of 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds.)
Education and Requirements:
Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Understands the tie-down points of required equipment.
Valid Driver’s license with Class A CDL certification, DOT Physical Examination (Medical Card).
Must be 21 years of age.
Working knowledge and understanding of Motor Carrier Safety Regulations / DOT Guidelines.
Knowledge of local major and minor roadways and the ability to effectively use maps and directions for efficient delivery routing.
Possess knowledge of and/or previous experience in driving delivery trucks, towing tandem axle utility trailers, and towable construction equipment, operating safely within high traffic or congested city zones and in small rural areas.
Prior training and/or experience with similar Construction/Agricultural equipment a must.
Must be capable of calculating mileage distances using road maps.
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Experience:
Experience in the transportation and operation of construction, agricultural and/or aerial equipment preferred.

Additional Requirements:
Possess a current driver’s license, DOT Physical Examination (Medical Card).
Exhibit safe driving behavior / record instead of quality level record and maintain a Franklin Equipment quality level driving record.
Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness on the roadways
Exhibit professional defensive driving techniques to protect internal equipment and other drivers
Possess a “Can Do" attitude and be willing to do what is necessary to exceed customer/company expectation.
Must have sufficient mechanical ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle.
Must have a working knowledge of delivery area.
Possess prior experience in safe operation of heavy construction machinery within rental industry, and working understanding of load securement and transport.
