Assistant Sales Manager
SUMMARY
Assists in Managing sales functions for the entire location including the implementation of a defined sales process, coaching and developing sales professionals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists in Managing and coaches sales professionals to implement the sales process.
Creates development plans for sales professionals which includes identifying training needs.
Develops and executes the Sales Department metric and goals.
Implements a consistent sales process that drives optimal financial, market and customer performance.
Ensures the sales document process is established and followed by all sales team members.
Creates and executes an effective wholegoods marketing strategy.
Manages new complete goods inventory which includes maintaining proper inventory levels and order program utilization.
Identifies and executes best practices throughout the sales department.
Develops and implement incentives plans for sales team and customers.
Develops the Sales Department business plan and reviews progress regularly.
Works with Parts and Service Managers to promote customer satisfaction.
Manages used equipment processes and inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
Farm background and Equipment knowledge.
3+ years equipment sales experience.
Ability to teach and coach sales professional on selling techniques and sales processes.
Experience leading others.
Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Associates or Bachelors Degree in business or marketing preferred.

Inventory Control
Purpose:
Manage all equipment and attachment inventory.
Responsibilities:
Loads all equipment(new and used) into dealer business system with accurate descriptions in a timely manner
Monitors IN/OUT log for accuracy and marks equipment in and out when needed
Ensures equipment information in the dealer business system and/or dealership website is accurate and timely updated
Keep online advertising accurate and up to date, including pricing & photos of equipment
Oversees used equipment refurbishing and storage process
Responsible for tracking manuals, accessories, and attachments that go with equipment (pto shafts, attaching parts, etc.)
Helps with coordinating internal transfers of new equipment between dealership locations
Works with sales staff to locate and transfer equipment to/from other dealerships to satisfy customer needs
Coordinates the set-up process for stock equipment with the Service Department
Participates in internal and external inventory audits to verify inventory records are accurate
Communicates with sales managers and sales staff on equipment availability and order status
Communicates regularly with other departments (used equipment, parts, service, accounting)
Helps to ensure John Deere Envirocrates, pallets and shipping stands are returned consistently
Work with trucking coordinator to oversee lot personnel and organization of equipment on lot and in showroom (Inventory manager may also serve as trucking coordinator)
Work with sales department to ensure a good display of equipment in the showroom and around outside of building
Auction responsibilities
Additional duties as assigned including but not limited to: Working with items for open house, and working with other special events
Requirements:
Basic Agriculture knowledge required, some experience preferred.

SUMMARY
Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer owned turf equipment.
May require some direction from Senior Technicians.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Must have good mechanical, customer service and communication skills.
Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on turf equipment.
Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Diesel experience.
Must have 2 stroke, 4 cycle engine experience
QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years of experience performing service repairs.
Ability to perform complex repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of turf equipment.
Ability to use basic computer functions.
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
Ability to lift at least 75lbs. repeatedly.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred.
Valid drivers license is required.
Fork lift license preferred.
