Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or senior technicians.

o Able to successfully diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures on machines
o Participates in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
o Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
o Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
o Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
o Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
o Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments

Qualifications
o 2+ years of experience successfully diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures on machines
o Agricultural machinery repair not required. Experience could include auto, industrial, material handling, oil field machinery, or turf repair
o Must pass driving record check, criminal background check, and drug test
