Farmers Equipment Company is a full-line dealership of Komatsu and Genie material handling equipment with locations in both Lynden and Burlington. We currently have an opening for a Service Technician primarily working out of our Burlington location.
Primary responsibilities include preventive maintenance and repair of equipment in our Material Handling Division.

Requirements:
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Minimum three years experience maintaining and repairing material handling equipment
* Competency in computer-based troubleshooting, repair of engines, electronic fuel systems, transmissions, hydraulics and brakes
* Ability to work effectively both individually and with a team of technicians
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Clear driving record and proven dependability
* Previous experience in supporting a service department
* Outstanding customer service skills and strong detail orientation
* Hyster experience strongly preferred

Farmers Equipment Company is a full-service agricultural and material handling equipment dealer with locations in both Lynden and Burlington. We currently have an opening for a Temporary Yard Assistant to work full time through the summer at our Burlington location, supporting our Sales, Service and Parts Departments.

Primary responsibilities include:
� Maintain the yard, warehouses, and other designated spaces in an orderly manner
� Support the shop by maintaining a clean and organized environment including emptying waste and recycling receptacles
� Maintain adequate supply of fuel containers
� Process Equipment Rental Returns including cleaning and coordinating preventive maintenance
� Perform cleaning and detailing of equipment
� Keep all wash bays clean and free of debris
� Assist Sales Department in moving and organizing equipment as needed
� Coordinate maintenance of grounds
� Assist with shipping and receiving duties

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting a service department, outstanding customer service and communication skills, the ability to effectively multi-task, strong detail orientation, clear driving record with valid WA driver�s license, and proven dependability.

This is a temporary summertime position, expected to last up to 14 weeks.
