SUMMARY:
The Customer Service & Support Rep (CSSR) will be responsible for improving the business success of our customers through direct face to face contact and an intimate knowledge of their operational needs. The primary objective of the CSSR is to make our customers more successful by anticipation or recognition of their needs by selling the appropriate application of product support and small whole-goods, products, and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the coverage, retention, development, and customer satisfaction of a specific group of customers within an assigned territory in the Minot market
• Responsible for selling parts, service, and small whole goods
• Utilize CRM program to maintain call schedules, prepare quotes, maintain quote files, and organize time
• Collect, record, and maintain in-depth customer profiles in order to gather information on sales, parts, and service needs
• Focus on customer equipment profiles for “set” group of customers, as explained in the CSSR Agreement
• Work with the CSSR Manager and VP of Parts in developing and promoting parts specials, featured items and/or services
• Identify new customers within assigned territory to promote personal and company growth.
• Perform the necessary functions required for machine or equipment undercarriage and ground engaging sales, i.e. evaluations, fit up, record keeping, and recommendations
• Attend educational and training programs covering company policies, department objectives, products services and programs, and professional salesmanship and personal growth
• Responsible for keeping accurate expense records and submitting them in a timely manner
• Ability to balance business needs and goals of the company while looking out for the best interests of our customers

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Extensive background in construction and/or heavy construction equipment
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, service or product support
• Minimum 2-year technical degree in related field or 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• Requires extensive travel – often requires several days and nights per week on the road for many different reasons, such as customer visits, training, trade shows, etc.
• An above average computer comfort level of or willingness to learn Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, MS Outlook, CRM programs and Distributor Operating systems

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record
• Must have a positive mental attitude
• Must have excellent customer service skills, both internal and external customers
• Be personable, highly motivated, reliable, ethical, and able to adapt to all forces around them – customers, suppliers, coworkers, and manufacturers.
• Attain short- and long-term objectives through good time management and planning
• Strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills
• Organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects
• Work at obtaining a level of expertise in areas such as undercarriage inspections, walk around inspections, safe operator procedures, etc.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
• Requires prolonged sitting with periodic lifting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching
• Requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a frequent basis

SUMMARY:
This individual will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in- field machinery diagnostics and repairs. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible. May require overtime, overnight stays, and occasional weekend work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform field repairs and maintenance jobs with little or no direct supervision
• Plans methods and sequence of performing assigned repairs
• Responsible for servicing units to fulfill OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications
• Recondition and repair equipment and components in a complete, safe, and effective manner
• Perform diagnostic inspections as directed to include repair determination inspections while following established guidelines
• Maintain accurate repair records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases
• Assists in the collection of data necessary for efficient inventory control
• Maintains all tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Performs other duties as directed by the Service Management

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Requires 2 year Diesel Technology degree and/or Automotive degree, or equivalent experience
• Basic testing knowledge of all machine systems
• Valid Class A CDL License preferred or willing to obtain
• Must follow all DOT regulations
• Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record
• Attend training at local, regional, and national service schools as requested
• Must provide own basic tool set

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions
• Must have strong diagnostic skills
• Responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe manner

• Can perform field repairs and maintenance jobs with minimal supervision
• Basic testing knowledge of all machine systems
• Can repair and recondition all equipment components and systems
• Develops and employs diagnostic related reasoning skills
• Responsible for operating heavy construction equipment in a safe manner
• Assists in the collection of data necessary for efficient inventory control
• Attends local, regional, national service schools as requested
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Maintains and cares for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Completes all paperwork required for jobs
• Maintains close, positive working relationships with service, parts and administrative personnel
• May perform other duties as directed by the Service Management

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Obtains or is willing to obtain a Class A CDL License
• Must have 5 years of heavy equipment experience, and be a proficient technician
• Has minimum 2-year Diesel Technology or Automotive Technology degree or equivalent experience
